born 1969 in Innsbruck,
1985/86: studies classical piano with his father Fuat Kent in Vorarlberg,
moves to Vienna 1987 to fully concentrate on the jazz piano, studies piano and music theory at the “Konservatorium der Stadt Wien”,
first engagements with internationally well-known musicians like Karl Ratzer, Art Farmer and Idris Muhammed,
between 1993 and 1995 spends one year in New York where he works amongst others with trumpet players Eddie Henderson and Valerie Ponomarev,
back to Vienna 1995 he becomes a constant member of the Austrian and European jazz scene, working with the following musicians:
